Within the same geographical perimeter as the previous project, we encounter a construction where scale is no longer merely a matter of size, but has become a true engineering challenge.
  • Year of execution: 2005
  • Location: Montabliz, Spain
  • Technical Solutions: Form Travelers, Traditional Formwork & Self-Climbing Formwork
  • Total length: 721 m
  • Width: 26.10 m
  • Maximum pier height: 130 m
  • Maximum span between piers: 175 m

The Montabliz Viaduct, on the A67 Meseta, replaced the dangerous N-611, improving the connection between Cantabria and inland Spain. Built using self-climbing formwork, it stood out for its technical innovation and, in 2010, received important international recognitions, becoming a reference in civil engineering.
