Deep Cut

The reconstruction of the A9 expressway, between Badhoevedorp and Holendrecht, involves the execution of several temporary and permanent structures over more than 12 km. In this context, the “Deepcut Amstelveen” tunnel stands out, consisting of both open and closed sections and playing a key structural role in the project.

With a total length of 1,600.00 m, divided into 56 segments, it has an average width of 25.00 m and an average segment length of 28.00 m, reflecting its construction complexity.

Within the scope of this project, ConstruGomes is responsible for the execution of the northern side of the tunnel, undertaking a set of critical activities for its completion. These include the installation of formwork systems, the implementation of drainage networks with large-diameter pipes, the application of waterproofing membranes, and the execution of the corresponding concrete works, ensuring high standards of quality, safety, and technical performance.
