Ongoing Project in Belgium | Bypass Noord

As part of one of the largest engineering projects currently underway in Belgium - the Oosterweel Project, which aims to complete the Antwerp Ring - a temporary bypass (Bypass Noord) is being built to divert traffic.

This temporary motorway is being developed in two phases: the North and East sections. At present, ConstruGomes is responsible for constructing the foundations, pillars, and deck of one of the two lots in the North Section, which includes the execution of the following tasks:

• Installation and removal of formwork, access structures, and work platforms;
• In-situ assembly and prefabrication of reinforcements;
• Installation of joints, temporary and fixed bearings;
• nstallation of prefabricated beams and pre-slabs;
• Concreting.
