This Management Report, that we are now presenting to you, is the result of a careful reflection of the outlined strategy and the results obtained throughout 2016.
As you know, the 2016-2018 strategic plan established by the Management and already introduced in 2016 is particularly ambitious.
ConstruGomes has established a strategy for its growth with the focus on providing civil engineering services. The need of growing is founded by the desire of being the best at building bridges, tunnels and viaducts. In view of that, the company has invested in human capital, focusing primarily on hiring highly qualified technicians and on differencing themselves from the competitors, through the quality and safety which the services are provided. The company has also been extending their spectrum of markets where it operates.
This company's strategic goals for the three-year period of 2016-2018 seeks to increase ConstruGomes business education for the development of services and goods, through investment on innovative and qualified activities that support their progression in the value chain.
The strategic goals for 2016-2018 for all ConstruGomes’ branches are:
- Invoice 25 million euros per year;
- Increase the international business volume for 90% of all the business volume;
- Achieving the level of excellency as a small-medium enterprise (PME Excellence);
- Becoming a reference on the national market on the field of building bridges using the Form Traveller technology;
- Consolidate the presence on the market where they already operate, through the opening of local branches;
- Focus their activity on the study of singular projects:
- Marketing and selling Form Travellers;
- Achieving the certification of Quality, Health and Safety at Work;
- Operate in 3 continents;
- Prevent physical injuries and health diseases to affect our workers
It's with great pleasure that ConstruGomes Engenharia S.A. management presents the results of the works performed in 2016. With the end of 2016, it is possible to verify that the majority of the goals proposed were already met or even exceeded.
The results achieved unmistakably support the fairness and assertiveness of 2016-2018’s strategic plan. It’s this plan that shall lead how the company performs. It’s essential that the company’s structure is aware of these strategic goals and puts them in practice.
We cannot fail to state that we owe the achieved results to the continuing and genuine commitment from our collaborators, we owe it to the loyalty of our business partners, whether it’s our clients, our suppliers or our fund providers. Only with the continual dedication from everyone, it was possible for ConstruGomes to deleop so many activities and to achieve a growth of such magnitude in only one year. This is a success shared by all and it's perfectly founded on values of safety, quality, innovation and trust. These are the values that we believe in. These are the values that will strengthen our relationship and optimise our future results.
