The works in Heilbronn, Germany developed in the following order: firstly, the demolition of the existing bridge, secondly, the construction of the new bridge and finally, the transfer of a structure weighing 48,460 thousand tons and 820 meters in length.
This engineering solution allowed all road traffic, commercial, regional, national and international, to never be interrupted, in this way, preventing complications in traffic with the new construction of this special work of art inserted in a communication route as important as this one.
ConstruGomes was responsible for the execution, handling and installation of the formwork, for the concreting and finishing of the piers and decks. This important road of communication incorporates 44 footing, 88 definitive piers, 66 temporary piers, 44 beams and two ribbed decks and prestressed full section.
