Brug Wijnegem

The modernisation of the Albert Canal, Flanders' most economically important waterway, has brought ConstruGomes to yet another job in Belgium.

In the Wijnegem Bridge project, the construction of a new bridge will replace the existing bridge over the Albert Canal in Turnhoutsebaan. This is because the current bridges over the canal prevent the passage of larger cargo ships.

ConstruGomes is responsible for all the reinforced concrete work on this new structure.
