Designed by Pechtold Architekten, the Leipziger Platz shopping center situated in the city center, is Berlin's largest and one of the largest throughout Germany.
Leipziger Platz is an octogonal square in central Berlin, which was reduced to ruins during Second World War, becoming a no man's land around the Berlin Wall. Throughout the years, it has been reconstructed to its original setting with a touch of modern architecture.
