The Ruby Line is a new Metro do Porto line that will connect Casa da Música station to Santo Ovídio station in Vila Nova de Gaia. With an approximate length of 6.4 kilometres, this line will feature eight stations along its route.
The project’s main objective is to enhance mobility within the Porto Metropolitan Area, serving strategic areas in both Porto and Gaia, and improving connections between the different existing public transport networks. A high number of users is expected, which will contribute to reducing road traffic in the surrounding areas and, consequently, to lowering CO₂ emissions.
ConstruGomes has been awarded, by the Consortium responsible for the contract, the execution of the formwork installation, shoring assembly, and concreting of the reinforced concrete structures for Lots 1, 2, and 3 of the Surface Works, covering the section between Arrábida and Devesas.
