Description
This project involved the construction of a new workshop for the repair and maintenance of railway vehicles (WHV), as well as a support office building. The workshop was strategically located in Oostende, with direct access to the Gent-Oostende railway line, as well as the lines connecting the existing railway workshops in the region.
Construgomes was responsible for the complete execution of the infrastructure works, including concrete works, formwork, steel reinforcement, masonry, and the installation of precast reinforced concrete elements.
The construction of this new workshop resulted in a significant improvement in the capacity for the maintenance and repair of railway vehicles in the region, contributing to the efficiency and continuity of railway services.
