The BRT (Bus Rapid Transit) corridor includes the cable-stayed viaduct that will connect the future Bus Station to section 1 of the Campo Grande BRT Corridor, passing over Avenida Barão de Itapura and over the exit loop of the Rodoviário and Metropolitano terminals. In total, the viaduct will be 118 meters long, 12.80 meters wide and approximately 40 meters high (from the ground to the end of the main mast).
The structure will consist of two lanes and an operational sidewalk on both sides, intended for the maintenance of BRT vehicles. With a capacity of around 150,000 passengers a day, the Campo Grande Corridor will benefit 20% of the municipality's population.
ConstruGomes was responsible for the construction of three viaducts, an underpass in reinforced concrete and a cable-stayed viaduct in pre-stressed concrete, being the main works of art to be implemented on the BRT.
