The TB Jossklein is one of numerous projects on the new section of the A49 motorway between Schwalmstadt and Ohmtal-Dreieck, which includes bridges, underpasses and overpasses.
As part of the trans-European network of transport routes, the A49 serves as a European link, fulfilling important community goals, namely the smooth functioning of the internal market and the strengthening of economic and social cohesion.
With the new construction of the A49 between the Schwalmstadt junction and the Ohmtal triangle (A5/A49), the following objectives are envisaged:
An average daily traffic of around 33,000 to 38,000 light vehicles and a share of heavy vehicles of around 20% are expected for the year 2025.
Special formwork developed by ConstruGomes, which allows for unique concreting without joints on irregular geometry columns
