Demosath Project

Demosath is a pilot project that aims to implement the first floating, multi-megawatt offshore wind turbine connected to the Spanish grid. Innovative in its construction method and installation process, the Demosath prototype will feature a two-megawatt wind turbine to be mechanically and electrically installed in the Port of Bilbao and then towed to its anchorage point, which is located at a depth of eighty-five meters and two miles off the coast.

ConstruGomes was responsible for executing the large foundations to be transported offshore for the wind turbine transformers.
